BASE RSX w/ K20A swap
Looking for some help. I've got a base RSX that has a K20A swap in it. Car cranks & starts on the JDM ECU but something's not right at all. Car won't rev over 4500rpms and the MIL light comes on while idle but then goes off. ***** crazy weird. I've got a KPRO for the car and when I put the KPRO in NOTHING happens. HONDATA's telling me its a ground issue but I'm thinking it could be in the harness. The car has the JDM wiring harness on it, and as far as I could tell it was completely plug & play. I'm wondering if I need to put the factory base harness back on. If anyone could help sheid some light on this that would be great. Anything to help get this car running!
base harness wont work because of unneeded runner sensor plugs in the harness itself. get a type-s harness, and with k-pro, you need to disable a sensor or something. i cant remember what it is. also make sure you have the immobilizer disabled when you put the k-pro ecu in. sorry i cant help much
