I unlocked my hatch and opened the window part, and the little metal latch fell off. My question is : Can I just unscrew it and get one from a junk yard or something? Can it be fixed somehow? I don't know how to weld so i'm not too sure about that. I looked into the hole where the latch is and it snapped off pretty close to the bottom. Has this happened to anyone else?

 

Im not familer with that latch but I wouldent see why you couldent. It would more then likey me easier then welding your old one back toghter
