NEED HELP with Reving problems
hi,
I don't really know how to explain what problem i am having wit my car because i have absoulutely no knowledge about cars... lolz..
but i will just give a try.... to see if any knowedgable member here possibly knows what i am trying to say..
ok here s what s goin on with my car..
whenever i rev or punch in my gas the car feels like it only produces half of its power.. and the rpm lags.. it kinda stops around 4000 and stuck there about a sec and it goes up really slow (felf like my first car metro)... just like if you are pressing the clutch paddle half way and pressing gas at the same time.....
i just came back from honda service and they says.. it feels like my clutch is worn out.. but he is not really sure and they have to test em out to find out the problem.....
do you guys have any idea what is the problem?
thx!!!

Why would they stop at 4000? Wouldn't they keep going up to redline?
Or would what's left of the clutch keep the engine from getting past a certain point while the drivetrain is still going slow?

It doesnt stop at 4000 rpm it lags there for awhile then goes up but at the same time the car seems like its tryin to catch up. Its like tis, when i press the gas the rpm jumps to 4000 rpm then lags there for awhile like its tryin really hard to force the speed out of the car lol. it seems like my foot is on the clutch the half way down while i press the gas, i think u know wat i mean there, anyone who drives a stick should know the lag im talkin about. i to think its the clutch but someone told me it could of been the ATTS mod thing, "I WAS LIKE WAT DOES TAT HAVE TO DO WIT ANYTHING?!?!"
