i am searching for a backseat for my car its a 89 crx si i was told that a eclipse back seat would work just wondering if anyone has done this whole backseat install?

 

I have no clue about that one, but i'm sure it requires some fabrication?
The only direct fit seats are the JDM ones so search around for those.

Why you want a back seat anyway? CRX's arent meant for ppl wit friends. You want friends? Buy a hatch, like me . Good luck in your searches.

 

yeah thanks i had a hatch it was stolen back in august so i figured i would try a crx this time but i have a 3 yr old and another on the way my boyfriend has a hatch but i need a car with a back seat too

 

i would not recommend a back seat to have xtra passengers in a rex

 

O DAMN do not put your kids in the back seat of a CRX. DANGEROUS. get a 4 four GSR those are dope and great for hauling kids aronud! OR and EVO all four of you will fit perfectly! Good Luck with the family thing

 

It never occured to me that Japanese people's height acually make it funcitonal for a JDM-CRX to have a stock back seats.
Keep in mind that if you tear out your rear compartment AKA (otherwise back seat) there ARE seat belt monts on the US-CRX frame that will alow install of 89-91 civic seat belts..

 

its also rumored that 89-91 civic seats will fit snugg with minor configuration ..
