Default intake question

ok this weekend I am planning on convverting my car to obd1 and putting a z6 head on my a6 block......I have the z6 manifold and z6 throttle body.....with all the sensors fuel rail and everything except the obd 1 injectors I got are broke *** and I have a couple of questions and would be most grateful if you guys could help me out

first, is the z6 throttle body any better than my a6 throttle body?

also is the z6 intake manifold that much better than my a6 manifold? I know it is supposed to flow a little better and if the throttle bodies are the same will my a6 throttle body bolt onto my z6 intake mani?

also is there any advantage of switching to the obd1 injectors?

The z6 fuel rail looks pretty bad *** and I have the pressure regulator for it.....can I use it on my obd 0 injectors and is it any better than my a6 fuel rail? also which regulator should I use?

I know there are a lot of questions but I would really appreciate this input. I have all these parts and I am just wating on the machine shop to finish milling my head before I do it probably this weekend. any innput is awesome thanx

What ECU r u going to run? Hopes and dreams? hahaha you need to pick up a P28 ECU and a obd-0 to obd-1 conversion harness as well.

seems like you are doing a mini-me conversion....
yes z6 throttle body is good but you can get a b16 throttle body custom fit to a y8 intake manifold (which has a better flow) than the skinny z6 IM (IMO- but if you got the z6 parts its better than a6 parts)
no there is no advantage to switching to obd-1 injectors you just lose the injector resistor IMO... and yes you can use z6 fuel rail wid some custom work to the injector connectors (its been awhile since i did my research on the fuel rail so i kinda forgot... but this should help ya a bit... good luck

Wish i had the answer, OBD1 injectors work on my OBD0 B16 Fuel rail
I really really think you can use those OBD1 injectors on a Z6 rail.. but i don't know for sure.

yeah I actually just got the dizzy adapter from rywire in the mail yesterday do you mean you think I could use the obd 0 injectors with the z6 fuel rail? I have a set of obd 1 injectors but they are broken on the heads.....bad shipping.....but is there even any advantage of using the z6 fuel rail besides it looks a whole lot cooler? thanx for the help though

yeah I went for the p28 ecu and complete obd 1 conversion because I figured if I was gonna do this I was gonna do it right I thought the little rpm activated switch for vtec was pretty cheasey and plus with the p28 ecu my motor will have the proper fuel maps....I dunno I am stoked I am gonna rip into this as soon as my head gets done at the machine shop
