b16 with gsr header

b16 with gsr header
i have a b16 in my garage ready to go in, i also have dc header for a gsr. i know they will bolt up. My question is the gsr down pipe is not as long as the b16, and does not have an 02 bung in it, am i supposed to get a gsr cat now so that it will have the 02 bung? Will it bolt up to the rest of the exhaust system?

actually i do not think that the gsr header will bolt up to your b16, the stud spacing is different, thats why if you buy a jdm type r header and want to put it on your gsr you have to weld the holes shut and re drill new ones. double check the header flange (where the wholes are) because i dont think its gonna fit

sorry this only applies to the intake manifold, all headers are interchangable, meaning a type-r header will fit a b20 or visversa, it is the itack manny that will not fit, but he asked about the o2 bung.

you can use the down pipe from the gsr header and the stock cat but you will need to get the flange from the cat to the end of the header matched up, any muffler shop can do this for like 50 bucks just make sure they cut the cat and not the header. Most likely they will have to add like 2inches to the cat and realine the flange.
