Default 92 honda civic engine swap with PICS

is there anything i can do to make this engine better? or should i just do a engine and transmission swap?

the car accelerates really slow due to the gears, i not in a situtation where i would do all the work my self, and i live in the Maryland area, any one know of a place out here to get a engine and trans swap done?

im trying to stick to a budget of like $1000...any ideas?

Your really gonna be limited to what you can do with that motor, especially if you want to go fast with that car. My best advice is be patient and save up some more money and get a B series engine, you can pick up a B16 with tranny and ecu and axles for $2500+ depending on where you buy it from, but that would be your best bet.

boost it or sell it and get a b-series; you'll enjoy the car 10x more by doing this as apposed to dropping money on bolt ons and such

Sell it plus the $1000 you should be able to get yourself an Ls...then you could probably pic up a b16 or Gsr tranny if you save a lil bit more + with the money left over. Then add a vtec head if you wish to continue...
