Pic of S2K antenna on ITR?
Or did anyone replace the stock one with something else? Is there anyway to disable the stock antenna and is that going to make a big different in radio reception?
thanks,
CS

to be honest, its a little worse. I recommend that when you install it, play with the wiring before your mount it! I'll redo it when i have time, but i never listen to my radio. my car is too loud anyways.

junglistgsr-hey i was wondering how you angled yours back without it sticking out to the side? I angled mine to the back and it looks great from the side, but when i look from the back of the car, it sticks out to the left! its like "what the heezy"...oh well, when i feel like cutting my hands up again then i'll fix it. nice pic btw
nice car! how much is it dropped, and with what parts?
i angled everything, including the piece that you re-use from the stock antenna, i twisted that torwards the hatch side so that the antenna would face a bit torwards the hatch side (to the right) and also back so that it would like the the antenna on the S2000 which does the same...it angles back and in a bit....if you got the kit from chris blake, you can loosen it and angle it how you like and then tighten it all back up, thats what i did until i liked it
i finaly got off my lazy azz and put mine on and i can tell you the rear end very stable under hard breaking because of the antanna
plus i hated how tall the power one was

Besides the s2k antenna, you'll need a mounting kit. You can either purchase a mounting kit, or build one yourself. I didn't want to go through all the trouble and make a kit by myself, so I just went and bought one from a guy for about 10~15 bucks.
The mounting kit comes with detailed instructions as well as some links to pics.
Took me about 1 hour because I had to drive and buy the neccessary tools.

[QUOTE]Excluding tools, is the actual S2000 antenna all you need for this conversion? [QUOTE]
hit RStoR (chris) up. he has the kits all you need is the mast. longest part is taking all your interior chit out.
