quality wheel spacers??
i need either a 3mm or 1/8 inch spacer. i also need to find the same diameter hubcentric spacer if they make any that size. any info would be appreciated tia.
yah i was looking at the h&r ones. their a complete hubcentric ring/spacer/bolt combo but their about $50 each. also it says that you need to press the new studs onto the hub of the vehicle?? if i do that does that mean i cant take it off later?? sorry im a newbie when it comes to rims also how will having a 5 mm spacer effect my car, will it mess up my hub or anything later?
I can't really tell you if the H&R spacers are worth the money (BTW, they're NOT $50 each) since I've never had any other kind. They fit like they were OEM, it's really amazing.
You can use the new studs, but with the 5mm spacers you don't really need to. I run the spacers on OEM studs for autocross with no problems. Anything more than 5mm and I would use the studs. The longer stud just means you get more threads under the lug nut (you'll likely need to swap out to open end lug nuts). You can still remove the spacer any time you wish. The spacer and the studs aren't connected.

Suggested retail is around $70 PER PAIR, and they can usually be had for $55-60. I guess that's a chunk of money if you need all four, but I only run them in the front.
-231, who did get them for $35, but that's a different story

another question itr 231, any long term wear or effects on keeping the 5 mm spacers on the car??
I don't leave them on the car. They're on for competition only, since I don't need them for my regular street tires. I doubt that a 5mm spacer would cause any problems, but I don't have any proof to back that up. Of course, I am replacing my front wheel bearings, so go figure
has anyone heard of opm motorsports? they make 3 mm spacers, woot
can i install 3 mm spacers w/o the hubcentric ring? i dont want to cheapen the quality on my car and have more problems later on. i want to do this right the first time.
