can civic type r pistons fit on a b8a1 block?
i have a 93 non vtec teg and i want to purchase some high compression pistons but i dont know if they will fit . they say that the pistons are for all b series motors but b16 and b18 dont sound like compatible pistons . help me out please

No, if the block is in good shape it won't have to be bored, just honed so that the new rings will seat properly. You will have to have the rods shaved to fit inside the piston though.
Consider going to P30 pistons instead. They offer about 11.1:1 compression which is suitable for pump gas, plus you don't have to shave the rods.
