Default 90 integra ecu in eg

I have a frankenstein motor and it originally was in an 91 integra with cable tranny. Once installed in my 99 hx the only problem is the vs sensor. I was wondering if I could use the integra wiring and ecu in my civic since he had the motor running correctly in his car. Since mine has constant vtec and stops at 6k rpms. Would it not be like a obd conversion.

you would have to use an obd-0 to obd-1 conversion and use an obd-1 vtec ecu. might get some codes for map sensors or something, not sure.
