IM building my CRX drag car, and i doubt that i'll run faster than 11.49, as per NHRA rulebook, faster than 11.49 requires a roll bar.

If i can get away with it, i'd rather not have the extra weight of a roll bar if not absolutely necessary, but i have a kirkley drag seat and 5 point harness which needs to be mounted to something.

will i pass tech if i have 1 3/4" OD mild steel bar in the correct position for a harness bar welded to the b pillar?

*edit* im currently in the market for a 4 point roll bar, but would still like to know if i can use just a harness bar for the time being...
