CHeck my spark plugs
I checked my plugs yesterday, what do you think? I was surprised that all the plugs were a bit loosen, not too much, but definatelly not absolutelly tight. My ITR is stock, it's about 20000 miles on them (except of the right one that has only 2000 miles).

I don't know, but for the same reason, I replaced the right plug 2000 miles ago. Now another plug is rusty. I found no water there

possibly...but sometimes they look like that if the car was driven hard recently. Id say those look like typical used ITR plugs.

You are probably right. My ITR is my fun weekend car, so it's mostly driven hard and often on a race track.

What he was saying though, is they should only look like that if driven very hard very recently. The heat that is a byproduct of 'hard' driving causes the mixture to lean out some as combustion chamber and underhood temps rise.
If you drove @ a track event , then had the vehicle shut down for a few hours, then drove leisurly home, the plugs should have returned to their normal state.
When i said your plugs look lean, i only meant very very slightly, nothing to worry about, but it is noticeable.

Thanks for your suggestions, very appreciated

FYI, mine looks exactly like yours after 20.000 km. They are a bit white because of the advanced timing (18 deg). I'm now using NGK Iridium IFR7G-11K. Engine feels a little bit smoother.
