Maintance Required light goes out 10x
Hey guys, what does it mean when my maintance required light goes off 10 times when I start my car? is there something wrong with my car? or am I just being paranoid? thanx

when you start your car and the maintenance light blinks 10 times, that means that it is reminding you of a oil change. nothing is wrong dude. it comes on every 7,500 miles for integras. to turn it off. look under your steering wheel and there is a blue square button. just hold it down and it will reset it.

That is correct. However, I believe it can't be turned off until after it's on all the time. Approximately every 7500 miles, it'll turn on and blink when you start your car. Then later on, it'll stay on. At that point, you can can reach under your dash and hold the button down for a couple of seconds.
Just don't forget to do an oil change/service.

It really depends on the oil used and driving conditions. The 3K OCI is often too early for most oils. In normal driving conditions, most oils can easily go 4-5K miles.

I brought this to life because my car didn't come with the manual and i was wondering about the mant. light. So i searched and got my answer.
Then i saw the 7000 miles and i thought it was a little too high.
Does it matter that i posted on something old??
