Safe boost for a Stock block LS?
Right now my car is currently running 5psi off the drag gen 3 turbo kit and is really in need of tuning. I dynoed the car when I had a dyno day for my forum and my car did 184whp and 169tq and when it went into boost it went so rich it went off the scale, So I went and bought a bunch of things to get my car to run right and be able to hold more boost safe with the correct timing and fuel maps ect ect. this is what I did.
I just bought
rc 750cc injectors
NepTune
BBK 255LPH fuel pump
Hallman MBC
3 Bar map sensor with pig tail
My Car is about to be tuned By Jason Hunt and was wondering on a stock block LS what boost should I tune up to for daily driving?

I am building a motor and dont wanna go back and have to put bigger injectors down the road so i said **** it and just wanted to do what I can the first time so I dont have to go back and buy another set ect ect.
my buddies 497whp integ runs the same ones.
I look at like this. Yea its a BIG *** injector but I will never max it out and there for it does not have to work as hard and Im not limited to mods of the car.

Its not how much boost it HP a LS is good up to 300 HP safely just ne a good tune. There a guy on here his name is JDMH22HATCH i was talking to he's running 1000 cc injectors and im also gonna have 1000cc on a stock ls also(upgrading motor setup in a few months and don't want to buy new injectors again) . Plus its so your not limited and it better to have a lower duty cycle percentage.JDMH22HATCH he's has 340whp/270/wtq bone stock not sure how many pounds. But it tuned real good.
Max PSI is somewhat deceptive, since LS usage seems to be split more evenly between street and track moreso than other motors. The reason is that smaller turbos will make less power at the same PSI as a bigger turbo. The reason is that a big turbo pushes more air into the motor when compaired to a smaller turbo at the same PSI. I'd say 12psi max with a smaller turbo for daily driving, 10psi for a big turbo daily. Hondas seem to get around 10hp/PSI and 142hp stock + 13psi (130hp) = 270hp, the limit most LS daily drivers (that want to preserve their motor) seem to observe. The other factor is the state of your tune - a shitty tune with 5 psi can destroy your motor in 1 run.
1000cc? You can't be serious, right? 240cc's are said to be good for 200hp max, 450's for about 350hp (IIRC), and people don't regularly break 600hp with Hondas. I know that some people say a shorter duty cycle can help atomize fuel, but there has to be a point of diminishing returns. Your choice though

Yea if i were you i would burn two maps, one for 7-9lbs(depends on what you want to daily drive at) and another at like 15lbs(or maybe more depends on you) on race gas for the track or crucial street races. LOL
