Default The Weight thread

I'd like to start a thread like this:
http://forums.corvetteforum.co...84927

I started that thread so I can eventually build my Corvette into a racer. If you check that thread, you'll see that I've gathered lots of information, some of which I obtained myself. I'd like to do the same with my CRX as well. When it comes down to it, the Corvette costs a hell of a lot to race, and a hell of a lot more to **** up on, so I'd like to start building up the CRX. On the CRX I don't mind stripping it to the core, experimenting, and occasionally breaking things.

Anyway, I want to know how much everything weighs...from the cigarette lighter to the front fenders. I need to know the model (HF/Si) of the car and the year. If you find the information online, please post the link where you found it. If you weighed the part yourself, please post that too. I'll continually update this thread as I do with the Corvette thread. While I haven't posted any weights yet, I'll post what I find from searching the Archive...89 threads... Thanks!

FWIW, I'll probably race my CRX in SMII or whatever class the SCCA will let me run in....I don't care, I just want to have cheap & legal fun.

Eugene

*sigh*
The 89 threads that the Search feature pulled up didn't really pull up much info...mostly guesstimates and WAGs. Here's what I found now, and I'm not very confident in these numbers. I need your help! With a community as large as this forum, I would hope I won't be providing the majority of the information...but will if I must.
