skunk 2 stage 2 cams
a kid at the local track is selling a set of skunk 2 stage 2 cams for $400. but he said that they werent all that great in more than a few areas. im looking to buy JUN type 3's, but if the skunk 2's are a good cam then ill take the offer. any opinions??????
I wish i could give you a straight answer, but all i can give you is what i've been researching.. look up different cam compaines.. some big ones are Comp cams, Crower, and of course Skunk2.. A lot of these places will have Dyno charts to help you out.. but from what i've herd about skunk2 stage 2 is that you have to have a few mods - intake, exhaust even some head work (valve, springs, retainers) on the skunk2 site it mentions that you won't see much results without thoes.. heres some links to help you out..

to get full beni out of the skunk2's you'll HAVE to get their titanium retainers, valves, valve springs. and then also to maximize full potential out of them u'll have to bump ur compression up and raise ur revlimiter
