ones finish is shinier and doesnt have the extra holes around the lug area. not sure which is which

i think the KAI (more expensive) are the forged ones.

the kai's have the tiny lip, the regular cr's are smooth around the lip with no indention

I believe the KAIs are forged and as mentioned has small lip on them

Work Emotions CR Kai is forged rim and is lighter. the work emotions cr is the same rim but not forged and heaver...

Just a small lesson in Japanese..........
Kai is a single character kanji used usually in the word kaizou.
Kaizou means "modify" and kai is used for short like "EG kai" (modified EG).
So basically CR Kai means "modified CR"

no, the kai's arent forged, both the cr and cr kai are cast. there used to be a forged version of the emoition but i believe they are now discontinued. i know the kai isnt forged though because i had them.

both the CR and CR kai are cast. the difference is in the spokes of the rims. the kai's have a thinner spoke that is tappered.
