Thats pretty much all I'm curious about . Sorry if its a dumb question but I found out my car isn't American - after owning it since October I sold my old hatch almost 5 years ago and I wasn't really into it other than as transpo so I can't remember what's different , it *feels* a little bit quicker but its been too long to really tell .
Re: Any differences between US and Canadian 91 Si's ? (Hawkrider)
I know for sure here (canada) the seatbelts are bolted to the floor, and not the door mechanism like in the US. If it is a 90-91 we have daytime running lights here. Thats all I can think of right now. We also got a SE crx here, kinda like the Si, only 250 were made, they came with matching trim, and a jdm sir wing, along with a few other perks, some even had cd players.

Ok,I've had a similar issue. Before I bought my car I did a background check on the cars history. My car was manifactured by honda in Canada. From there it went to Ohio and then to Florida, were I purchased it.I have compared it to several other 88-91 that i've seen in town.Since I don't know what comes stock for each model and what was an option at the time I'm not sure if this means any thing. My car is a 91 Civic (STD) 1.5L 4spd.It came with all vinyl seats, only front mount speakers,no cargo cover or rear speaker bracket, door mounted seat belts, front brakes arethe same ones used on AWD wagon(Larger than stock). And 2 inch exhaust all the way back.(but could have been added by previous owner)Well, that's all I've found so far.Don't know what else to say.

Ya, we never had seatbelts in the doors here, and we only had CRX DXs and Sis, and there was an SE, and 4th gen civics came in Si, DX, SE, CX, and from what Trinity tells me, the cx is the std, I learn something every day.

Actually CX stands for canadian specs but i believe they came DX also canadian i own a tahitian green pearl but i have the same kind of confusion with mine aswell i guess 90-91 is a facelift and looks totally different from 88-89 usdm
