Default Convert CRX Si rear discs to 4x114 pattern

I want to run ITR 4 lug wheels on my CRX.

I found some info that said I can press Civic Hybrid front hubs into my knuckles and that will get my 4x114 on the front.

The question is, are there hubs that I can use on the rear that will get me the same result?

What other Honda's are 4x114 besides Accord & Prelude?

I figure most people will want me to put ITR rear arms on my car to make this work but who is going to sell just that?

I want to either replace the hubs or maybe the spindles on the rear.

Thanks

I must not have made myself clear.
I don't want to buy a 4 lug conversion.
$700-$1000 is too much to spend on GSR sized brakes.

I want to convert my rear end to 4 x 114.
Does anyone know of a way to make it 4 x114 without buying a $1000 kit?

I totally don't think its worth it, but.....the cheapest way to do it is buy some new machined spacers with 4/114.3 spaced lugs. Its a lot cheaper.

Thanks to you too but I want to swap the hubs out.
Can 90+ Accord or 93+ Prelude rear hubs fit?

If the only reason that you want to do this is to run the ITR wheels then I don't think you need to change the hubs. I think the first year of the ITR came with 4X100 wheels. Do a search, but I am pretty sure that is correct.

He's referencing the correct size. The US the ITR's all had 5x114.3 (97-01). In Japan when the first year of manufacture was 1996, the ITR had 4x114.3.

Yes 96 JDM ITR rims, I think there was a '95 too. 4 x 114.3.

Will any hubs bolt on to CRX/Intregra rear hubs to convert it to 4x114.3?

Civic's are 4x100. First type R's (96) had 4x114 (i wonder what front axle size it was..) and 97+ all type r's had 5 lug, with JDM having a 36mm axle..

no accord or prelude hub will bolt on to the rear the spindle center is larger compared to the civics

you will have to find 96 ITR rear hub, which you will never find by itself.

you can buy just the 4x114 Front Knuckles and rear Trailing arms from HMotors or even PasswordJDM for $200-$250 without wheels

which IMO is cheaper than you finding hubs that will work then finding out the spacing is off

because the hybrid Hubs run 60 bucks each thats $120 right there

then trying to find a capabale rear....ive researched into a 4x114 replace for the rear...ive looked in other 4x114 hubs like Nissans and finding the right combo is a needle in a haystack and plus these will not be cheap either about 80 bucks each for a rear hub assembly so that makes $160

so when you total it up you will end up spending close to $200

So just call up Hmotors or password JDM and ask for just the 4x114, last time i checked HMOTORs was $200

I totally understand what you are saying. My problem is $200 turns into $300 shipped to the east coast and what it boils down to is all I will be using is the hubs from the front and rear.

I actually used 90-93 Integra rear hubs. You don't happen to know if the spindles are Accord Prelude sized do you?

I know you guys are trying to help but this thread has turned into me defending my original question.

I don't want to spend $300 on hubs when I could buy New Civic Hybrid hubs for the front from the dealer for ~$120/pr and the rear hubs from an old Accord/Prelude are probably going to be $50 or less for the rears.

I don't want some guy from Japans beaten up trash. Let's face it, who buys an ITR in this country or Japan to treat it nice? Someone over there beat the hell out of that car and probably crashed it and now we Americans are paying top dollar for its parts.

I'm not a JDM *****. I want the ITR 4 lugs because they are 15 inches and light as the 14 inch HX rims, plus I can convert it to run Prelude Vtec 12" brakes, which the more resistance this thread is met with, the more I think Prelude brakes are overkill on a little CRX.

What kind of atitude is that? Just because you don't know how to do something doesn't mean it can't be done!

One of the coolest things about Honda/Acura is that they reuse many parts on different cars. It's like a puzzle where you can switch out a few pieces and make a totally different puzzle.

Look at the Accord wagon brake swap, or an LS with a Vtec head.

Somehow some salesman has convinced most of you that you need to speed big money to have something cool.....

HX is only 14", I want 15s.

I'm tired of defending my position, if you can help, post, if not get lost.

Why does every thread in the CRX/Civic section turn into everyone trying to impose their modifications on the thread creator's car? Soon everyone's car will look exactly the same here. I don't want to do it your way, I want to do it my way, after all, it is MY car.
