Do you know how well that stuff works? Would I be peeling away with my fingers or with a razor ?
Im trying to refrain from using a razor because I was leaving scratch marks

had the machine shop do mine, since i had it in there anyways for new valve seats and faces. they just ground all the junk off of there. easiest time i've ever had. bet yeah, i have an autozone gasket scraper and it took some practice to get my skills up so i don't leave marks on the surface, but now i can get just about anything off of just about anything else. handy tool/skill to have.

If its really on there I wouldn't recommend doing this. You can really mess up the surface of the head if you really go at it because the aluminum is soft.
I would recommend either heating the gasket up with a propane torch to soften it or get the liquid gasket remover from an auto parts store. Both will be alot quicker than scrapping with a razor blade and you don't have to risk messing up the surface of the head.

These abrasive wheels do a great job.... just get the one for the correct application, gasket removal.
