Default B18a build

well i'm bout to buy some cams soon and was curious on what kind of compression ratio
the exospeed race ls cams need to gain as much power as possible and if it'll gain good power with stock compression ratio or should i juss get the ls909 from exospeed
it's almost the same price and i know both of them are regrind stock cams

i need some opinons

also are gsr valve springs and retainers useable with b18a head?

this is what i'm going to do

b18a block with p30 or pr3 pistons which ever i find cheaper
thinner headgasket
gsr valve springs and retainers
exospeed race ls cams
and i/h/e
should i get arp rod bolts?
what do you guys think of the set up, will i have any clearance problems with using the p30/pr3 pistons and what kinda power will i be looking at

as far as i know you cant use the gsr springs for pistons id go with p30 wich is around 10.8-11 compression

im running p30 pistons in my ls block making about 11:1 compression i wouldnt worry too much about getting a thinner head gasket. If you want more compression than that you could try flat faced valves. crower also makes some pretty good cams, i havent got around to getting my cams yet but the exospeed ones have sparked my interest. good luck with the build!
