Will a k20a fit in my 97 civic dx???
im currently looking to swap engines and transmission for my 97 civic sedan and dont have much knowledge on the subject. if anyone can help please respond. and also which swap would be the easiest and cheapest and get the most out of it?
I think i've seen it done before. you'll need some pretty nifty motor mounts, fuel rail, and some sort of engine management. and, some some extra money.
Easiest: None will be easy
Cheapest: if your asking this, none are "cheap" your looking easily @ $8,000 (the engine alone is about $5k+
go with a B-Series (B16, 18, etc.)

Yes it can be done and I'm sure it has.
Here are the mounts to get your started.

Good luck. K-series are nice engines but still really pricey right now.
Your easiest route: sell the sedan and get an Si or another Civic with a swap already done to it.... or B-Series engines.
