i put in an aftermarket steering wheel like a month ago but do i need to put in the stock one when i take it to get smogged or when do i need to put it in?

 

My guess is before you take it in..............or in the parking lot of the facility .

just make sure your able to put it back on the car after an accident. (if you can predict you can walk away from it)

that way you wont get dropped from your insurance company and get sued by the other parties.. and remember the first thing the cop will ask you is "did you have your seat belt on?" and "did the air bags deploy?" so you may be in trouble for giving false information on a police report ( felony) and not to mention tampering with the air bag system (federal offensive)

could be the biggest mistake you make in your life. all to look cool with an aftermarket steering wheel.

if you had a 88-91 civic or crx i wouldnt say all this.

but the question relies heavily on whether you can walk away and refuse medical treatment so you can put the steering back on.

yea getting in accidents always scares me and my mom would kill me if insuranced dropped us. i think imma put my stock one back in.
