type R brake (that's how you spell it BTW) system is pretty much close to yours, except they got a 1" master cylinder, I think bigger booster, calipers are little bit different but pretty much the same ****. Now since your car is lighter it's quite posible that you could outbrake a type R even with the same motor.
Just upgrade your front pads, keep ceramic rears, and bleed the system.

If you don't already have those, that would be a really good investment. Mine came with my rear disk/drum conversion.
