Default Exhaust for 92' Lude

My Nephew has a 92' lude and needs an exhaust but doesn't have alot of money. He needs a cat-back b/c of rust. He wants to spend around $250. I was thinking to get a magnaflow muffler and take it to a muffler shop and have them put 2.5" from the catback to the muffler. Would this be the best thing to do??? What muffler is good?

That sounds good. I have a Magnaflow with custom piping and it's a great setup.

$250 should be just enough to get that done
