bogging problem

b16 bogging problem
im posting this for a friend......well he has a 91 b16 crx that boggs in high rpm(7k+)...when it boggs the check engine light flashes and turns off.....the wierd thing is the ecu doesnt throw a code.......it happened again today when he launched at 3k....the check engine light flashed and turned off....no codes.....we're thinking maybe tps.......any help appreciated
