Default '01 Civic check engine light

I recently installed a short ram intake on my Civic and the check engine light went on. I used a code reader and the the diagnostic trouble code that showed up was P0113 (IAT sensor 1 circuit high input). I am guessing that the intake air temp. is really high and is tripping off the sensor. I tried to reset the trouble code with an OBD 2 scanner but the light still stays on. I even tried unplugging the battery for an hour and then checking again. Darn check engine light is still on. Will the ECU adapt to the new intake? Any help or info. is appreciated. Thanks.

Remove the ECU fuse from the fuse box under the hood. That will erease the ECU memory. Also be sure you have the sensor plugged in and didn't bend any pins inside the connector. The problem is somewhere with your installation, The light didn't set until you installed the intake right.
