Anyone watching live? Second qualifying round starts in 30 minutes</TD></TR></TABLE>
I am watching it for sure... but it doesn't start for another 3 hours on Speed since they delay the 2nd round qualifying before showing the live race... so no qualifying spoilers please.

Yea, I be watching it.
I think is Renault's year and Toyota to climb.
Feel bad for BAR back in the hole again.

Watching delayed Q2 right now (already watched the live timing earlier
)
Pulling for Ant and Jense!
The Toyotas are strong on single lap sprints, but I think we'll see them fall off pace as the suspension is hard on the tires.
Renault look so strong
but I think they're light for the start.

I fell asleep after Honda died...
There's rumors going on here that Toyota is cheating. That they are using their old WRC tactics and hiding performance enhancing equipment on the cars. The nose change towards the end was kind of suspicious IMO
Quick fact: Toyota and Ferrari are the only two teams that produce their own chassis and engines. Makes it easy to hide equipment on the cars? Food for thought.

If Toyota is cheating, they will be caught (i.e. = 2004 Canada; illegal brake ducts) as the cars are scrutinized before and after each race. I don't see how a nose change would be considered suspicious?
And, Renault also makes their own engine and chassis

I think we're starting to see now that bringing in the hondas after Australia's GP might of been a move that Honda thought was necessary because they knew reliability would be an issue.
That's a big embarrassment for honda to have two engines blow up within a minute of each other less than 5 mins from the start of the race. What do you think was the cause of the engine failure? We saw some water come out of Davidson's engine as it was going so that might of been total destruction, but it look Button's failure was mostly piston related because he was able to continue for a while.

Fact is Honda havent been able even during testing to run an engine to 1200km, they are falling behind the game. Its slightly amusing that they pulled both cars from Australia so that they could run 2x new engines this GP and both then failed. Quite why when they had an oil leak on JB's car on Friday they would carry on with it is beyond me.
Toyota have invested heavily and want results. They carried out the largest test schedule over the winter using all four drivers they have. Its paying off. God I love Honda's blowing up and Ferrari's struggling it actually makes it a race for a change.
Teams cant hide from the rules. There are simple weight checks before and after the races as well as height and geometry on the wings etc. Nose change, what the one that RS had stuck into MW's BMW, the broken nose that shattered down the pit straight, that nose change?

The clips showed JB's car losing fluids before it failed. AD's engine had to have had valves meet pistons for there to be flames like that, would love to see the internals.

Keep in mind the commentary where Honda was mentioned as saying that they were going to go all out for power, reliability would come later.
Also keep in mind that Ferrari is still running their 2004 model and not that it's an excuse but they seem to be having major issues with Bridgestone's compounds.
Racing is alot closer than last season.
But the heat looks to be a major issue as well between driver fatigue and tire compounds failing.
