Default Please Advize !! It Won't Fit !!

I just bought a set of RC Engineering 310 Injectors for my LS build. I also have an Edelbrock Intake Manifold. I tried to install the injectors into the manifold but the damn things don't want to seem to fit in there. Number one the gaskets seem to large on the OD and the barrel of the injectors don't seem to fit in the manifold itself. Am I doing something wrong or is something not correct. The AEM fuel rail seems to fit ok. PLEASE HELP!! It's been a freakin year and a half and I want this car running!! Thanks.....

those gaskets look to big. when rc injectors are installed there is a little gap between the injector and the manifold. it looks like it's not all the way in the manifold but thats how they're supposed to be.

yup. that's how my RC's were in my stock LC manifold. However, I do know that those rubber gaskets were different sizes betweek a 94 LS intake mani and a 98 intake mani. Maybe look into different rubber rings?

So, the injector really only sits slightly in the mani? I definitely need some sort of different gaskets. Any suggestions?

You have to slightly bore out the inside of the intake manifold grommets and spacers to get the larger diameter RC injectors to fit.

If you don't want to do that or don't have the means, I might have a spare set I can give you.

Awesome suggestion!! I'm gonna give this a try. I'll bore out the grommet so the injector fits in the manifold and then my father said he has some composite plastic at work called Ultima that will withstand heat. He said he could machine some custom made spacers to make sure that the injectors don't move. I'll be sure to post some pictures etc when it's done. Thanks everyone.
