vented carbon hood help
So i've got my plug all ready to go. But i'm not sure how to lay the fiberglass over the vents to get a good mold. should i cut strips and lay them perpendicular across the vents? any suggestions would help

Id use a .030 aluminum piece just large enough to cover those vents and bond them securely to the backside(motorside) of hood, mold release the **** out of it and sprayup gelcoat/build mold over that.

sorry, that first post wasnt very clear. I'm making a vented carbon hood. I took a normal hood cut notches bent, fiberglassed the edges, put bondo on that, and primered the whole thing. hopefully the pix will help. What i'm not sure about is how to make the fiberglass female mold with the vents there, will it be ok to cut strips of fiberglass (6) the width of the vent and lay them across, fill with foam or something and the lay more fiberglass ontop of that?
