I was finishing up on a B16 swap this morning and went to fire it up...and of course as always nothing happens...go back check all the grounds and wiring...everything is good....when you turn the key to start it you hear the main relay click...so could it be a bad main relay or what?...any help is appreciated..Thanks

Coil can be from any 88-91 Civic/CRX or 90-91 Integra. Not to sure how much they are a parts store. I think brand new from Honda is like $80 or so?

Edit: $67 from Majestic Honda: http://www.hondaautomotivepart...BUTOR #15

before you go out and blow 80 dollars on a peice that probably wont work, have you tried chaning the spark plugs or using a different set of plug wires? Still said nothing about the codes that you might have. Also what are the chances of receiving a jdm motor with a bad coil/ignitor? I thought most places insured the motor to start up at least. Where did you get it? Which ecu are you using? Any conversion harnesses? Have you checked over your wiring more than 1 time? Looked at any of the main fuses?

Well I'm getting a whole distrubitor for free...so i will try the coil first and then go on to other things....as for the codes there are none...as the fuses were checked as for the wiring...I went over the wiring at least 50 times...cuz that is what always seems to be the problem...the ecu is a pr3...there is no conversion harness...just using the Si harness with all the plugs added from the B16 harness...If the coil doesn't work we will go from there...Thanks

take the spark plugs off and put it on your valve cover and check if you get spark. also check the gapping on the spark plugs. i had the same problem until i crossed my firing orders up and VROOOOOM. really rough though. turned the car off and switched to normal firing order and it worked dunno why but thats what started my car.
