Default tips CMI bracket racing coming up

i think im go to CMI at sac raceway, its gonna be bracket racing. wen i went to tes tn tune i ran a 15.9 first run and then a lowsy 16.7 second run. ima dial in at 16.1 and hope to get around 16.0 or so. with bracket racing, since ive never done it. what are some tips to keep you consistant. i think i know my car pretty well. thanks guys

If you go and you think you can run say 16.0 all day then I would dial-in at 15.9 so that you don't break out because if you dial in at 16.0 and run 15.9 then you'd lose as long as the other driver doesn't break out also.

Do everything exactly the same each run,burnout,seat position,staging,shifting ect. Sit in the car and go through a run,with engine off of course, over and over again. Its all about muscle memory and consistency. Dont worry about the other guy,your racing yourself. Only time you need to worry about other guy is at the finish line.
