a 99 so its a baby still. my buddy is going b20vtec and he wont be needing his block and i wanna do poor mans itr w/ my xsi/b16 head. i dont really know how much they go for, i searched on hondatech but sum ppl wanted $600-1,000. i didnt think itd be that much...

so im askin whats a reasonable offer?

For a newer shortblock in good condition, $800 to $1000 isn't out of the ordinary, depending upon milage. I've seen GSR shortblocks go for as little as $250, but they were old and worn out. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $600 for a GSR shortblock.
