Dash Lights coming on when I push the Brake pedal! And not when lights are on.
Ok, try this one on for size!
95 Integra LS 4 Door Special Edition 5 speed, blah blah blah....anyway.
Turn lights on (Parking or Headlights) and I results in NO dash lights or cluster lights
but....
Push the brake pedal down, the dash lights come on!
Any clue where or what I might wanna look for. Obviously, I know it is a wiring issue of some sort but I need some guidence as to where to start my search.

Are the following correct:
1) The dash lights come on only when both the parking lights are on and the brake is pressed.
2) The dash lights do not come on when the brake is pressed and the parking lights are off.
Perhaps you have a broken ground for the dash lights, and the dash lights find a ground through the brake lights.

1. Lights come on only when the brake is pressed, they do not come on when I turn the parking/headlights on.
2. When the brake is pressed the dash lights come on and yes the parking/headlights are turned off.
Possible ground issue??? you may be right. All systems are functional just not at the correct times when they should be. Nothing is inoperable, they are just coming on during the depression of the brake pedal.

It could be a ground issue, as most switches are between the load and the ground. I have a wiring diagram, but it is only for the OBDII Integras. PM me your email address if you are interested, I'll have to scan them.
I have a 93 civic dx 1.5l. My problem is when i push the brake pedal down the dash lights come on, the parking lights come on, and the heater selector lights go dim. Anybody have any idea why this is happening???
