Looks like someone has been swinging on the driver's side door of my "new" (used) 92 VX hatch. When it shuts, it hits the bottom of the jam pretty hard. Is there any way to adjust the existing hinges or do I need to replace them?

I see where I can get at the bolts that mount the hinges, but it looks like I'll have to remove the front quarter panel to do it. So, I'd like to know whether I need to have new hinges on hand first. Thanks!

u can adjust it, just loosen the bolts to the hinges and adjust accordingly. have a friend help you cuz the door can be heavy.

 

Thanks! I wanted to know if there was any adjustment before removing the quarter panel. I'll give it a try this week.

 

u can try loosening up the hindge bolts and adjust it.
