Hi HT peeps!!!

Building a 84,5mm ODB1 JDM B16A for FI...

Can i use the ITR Oilpump and ITR Waterpump on my B16A ?
Do i have to use ITR belt or B16 belt ? ITR or B16 tensioner ?
Something else i need to think about doing this ?

 

ITR oil and waterpumps will both work.

Timing belt should be B16 as well as the tensioner.

 

Not to flame you JDM_Ej, but HT has a lot of BS...
Can more peeps "that know this is right" confirm ??

 

Thats right you could not use the itr belt becouse the motor has a taller deck and it would be to long on the b16.

He's correct. Water and oil pumps are interchangeable amongst the B-series family members.

Vtec B water pumps have 22 teeth,non-vtec have 19 teeth.Obd1 and obd2 oil pumps take different timing belt covers.
The itr stuff will work on b16 with a possible timing belt cover issue depending on years of the engines.
