I'm installing a transmission by myself and it's my first time. I'm having a hard time because I can't the the axle to seperate from the lower arm. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. I think I used the right terms but I have pics to better explain my problem.

 

The axle from the lower arm? Do you mean the knuckle's lower ball joint from the lower control arm or the axle spline from the knuckle?
