i was helping with a b16 swap into a 91 dx hatch today and we got to the axles. The guy doing the swap when he was finished with the axles, the hub assembly's wouldnt move......we're using the axles that came with the swap.......and we had to loosen the axels so the car could roll out of the shop.....do we need aftermarket axles or did he do something wrong, help!!!!

the guy doing the install said it could work if he took the knuckle off the stock axle and put it on the b16 axles.....this didnt sound right.....and im trying to save a friend 400 bucks....

you need axles from 90-91 Integra RS/LS/GS.

What he said, just take your axles out and take them into a parts store and core swap them for the right ones

 

Did your swap say anything about removing the dust shields on the axle and the hub assembly. That could be your problem. I had to remove them two pieces.

 

did the b16 axles work when you removed them?

 

Yup, I have a JDM B16A out of XSI Integra using 90-91 integra axles. The one on the back side of the hub you will have to pry it off with a nice screwdriver. Hope this helps.
