Light flywheels are meant for higher revving motors that make their power up top. It would be really dumb to put one on your F22. You will regret it.

Stick with 8 or higher for your GSR. You will be happy.

I have a 8lb flywheel and i LOVE IT. I don't know what everyone else is talking about, but on mine it has a stronger pull all the way through the higher revs. I've had it for over 2 years and 60,000 miles!

7-8 to 8 lbs seems realy light to me...most of the street/weekend race flywheels i've seen r around 11 pounds...in my opinion i think 7-8 pounds is to lyte, especially for the f22...but its up to u, the pros of a lyte flywheel is dat ur revs r quicker, get into ur powerband quicker...cons r if its to lyte, ti wont idle very well(we're talking extremely lyte tho) and ur also goin to drop out of ur powerband very quickly also, so the choice is upto u...i wud recomend driving a car similiar if not the same to urs with a lytend flywheel, but that myte be hard to find...so good luck

I bought a fidanza flywheel and an exedy clutch w/pressure plate and throwout bearing. My clutch feels perfect to me and the car idles perfect. I know that the f22 is not all that powerful, but I really do like mine!

yes, i would reccommend it, i had a clutchmasters 8lb flywheel (which is actually the same flywheel as fidanza) on my accord and liked it. driveablility did not change at all and it drove just like stock except a little quicker on the acceleration and deceleration. no noticable "loss" in torque like alot of people will argue.

Search for prelude flywheels, because they work with the F tranny. Either Jun or Spoon makes a 12lb flywheel for the H series, and as stated F and H are interchangeable.

If you are going to take the time to install a flywheel, you might as well install a clutch as well. Save on labor cost, time and/or both. Invest the money you are planning on spending on the pulley kit towards the clutch, and gain more than the wanted hp increase by disconnecting or removing the p/s pump.

Hope it helps.

Why take the p/s out?? i myself kinda like it.. but it is a hassle once in awhile.. but anyhow, im gonna need a pulley kit here soon.. its better to get it sooner because my alternator belt is to short so its a VERY tight fit since i used the f22b1 pulleys.. it needs 2 be a lil bit bigger so i just think itd be better for a pulley kit and other things.. but idk what i wanna do yet? =/

Less parasitic drivetrain loss. The same reason your putting in pulleys in the first place.

Also, Is an underdrive pulley dampened?
