Hmm from the pic, it looks more like you bottomed out the nut and therefore the stud broke when you tried to tighten it down more.

With extended studs, you really need to run open nuts.




But, I could be wrong.. I always am...

Does anyone know if the 5 gen Prelude has longer studs than the ITR? I heard that they 1/4 inch longer, but can't confirm and my local Honda dealer doesn't carry them unless I special order.

Oh.. btw those are H&R Studs.. about $1.50/pc - 60mm i think.. can't remember. We had a group buy on them a while ago.

Yup they do work. I've been running on them for a couple months now. its can be really difficult to get the studs to sit straight, and this was using a lincoln press. The studs are a little bit thicker than the stocks where it sits into the hub, so don't expect to be able to hit them in with a plain hammer. The plus side to this is that atleast you wont have to worry about the stud spinning like I see with the skunks all the time.
