88-91 to obd-1 conversion

When you do the conversion do you use the map sensor on the OBD1 throttle body?

or do you have to use the map on the fire wall in the CRX?

I think you can use either one but I believe the wiring needs to be reversed if you are keeping the original.

SOmebody want to verify this for me.
