Default Removing Intake Manifold

Alright im throwing a CEL, its insufficent flow to EGR. I have already cleaned out the EGR valve and i still throw the code, I now need to remove the IM to clean that out. Does anyone have any tips? How long should i expect this to take? Is there some kind of write up on how to go about doing this?

Thanks for you help
Dan

ALldata says 4 hours to remove and replace the intake manifold. Add about 1 more hour to clean egr ports and the manifold. if you reall yknow what you are doing it can all be done faster though.

you don't need to take off the manifold to clean out the EGR system...

just take off the valve, spray some sea foam in there, let it sit, maybe stick some pipe cleaners down there a little, you'll be good to go.

Shouldnt take that long. I had mine off and back on again in about 3-4 hours without a manual.
