NEed INfo about F22b1 internals.
they can handle LOTS of power as long as the fuel maps are tuned right....300 at the wheels might be risking it.....member Accordfreak is considered by alot on here to be an "expert" on boosting the stock F block...he made around 280 whp at 10psi i belive....that was untill he got ran off the road and totalled the car.....theres ALOT of boosted F's on here, so theres ALOT of expericne on this board with it. of course, you have to remember that the more wear and tear on an engine before its turboed, the quicker any problems will arise...i believe the rings are usually the first things go to at high boost, but dont quote me on that
it might have been 12psi...but you can run 8-10 every day as a daily driver, and if its done right, youll never have any problems...you just wanna make sure you have extra money beforehand, cause something usually ***** up (nothing major), and you wanna be prepoared
for what its worth it was on one bar, 14.7psi, may have been 15, but it was more than 10 or 12. i made 280wtq on 15psi, but i have a b2, not a huge difference though. with water injection and more boost i hope to hit over 300 stock block and internals soon. It is pushing it though and I only plan to do so once my spare bottom end is built and waiting to go in. but 250 can be had very safely on these motors, with 250 wtq as well. i love f series
ya tq will help me keep up with my "mucle car crazed freinds, for the 280wtq did you tune it? you could probally do 300 at what your doing rigth now
the f22 is a pretty stout motor, properly tuned can handle 260 whp easily but i wouldn't recommend running that all the time..honestly daily driving when do you need that much power?....**** my motor has run great for the last 3 months daily driven at 8psi making 237wtq.
