Default Wiring Type R motor in EG

Searched already....

I'm planning on swaping in an 98+ type r motor into my 93 cx hb. Since its an obd2 motor, do the engine harness plugs match up with the distributor/alternator harness? IF they dont what is the easiest way to make them match. Are there any diagrams that you could post for me. Also what year swap would you recomend.
Is there anything else i should be aware of doing this swap. thank's...

easiest way is to use USDM obd2 gsr/type-r engine harness plug/play let this be your first option!!!!!!!!...... 2nd option is to use your stock one and extend several wires and add the usual.... if you use your stock harness use your injectors and dohc obd1 dizzy and alternator if your confident rewire the the obd2 alt and depin the obd2 dizzy and matchem... i just finished mine obd2 in obd1 eg and if i had to do it again i go with the first option!!! I'm still trying to work out the bugs one is a solid check light........... good luck with your swap

IF you wanna do this swap first off are you using the JDM itr ecu or the usdm?? cause jdM ecu is a lot better cause the obd2a ecu only uses 1 o2 sensor. I have the wiring diagrams if you need it. All usdm itr ecu's uses 2 o2 sensors and thats probably why your getting check engine light. They do make jumper harness from obd1 to obd2a or obd1 to obdb. let me know if this info helps u out. I got the sites where you can by the jumper harness. Just wire your car for a 94-95 GSR swap by the jumper harness and it will be plug and play just dont add the IAB for the secondary butterflys cause you wont need them on the type-R

Damn, people type alot of **** and NEVER get to the point. The OBD2 engine harness will plug up to your OBD1 shock tower harness. After that, since its a 93 instead of a 92 and isnt pre-wired for vtec, you will have to run 3 wires.

OBD1 P28 ECU

2 - Vtec Pressure Switch Ground and D6 (You can run the ground to the starter ground)
1 - Vtec Solenoid A4

Solid CEL is "home limp mode", which means your ECU is running off of a secondary SAFE processor dumping a **** load of fuel! Does the car only rev to 3500RPM?
