i had to change my front left caliper, whats the easiest way to bleed that thing the right way?
whats the easiest and best way to bleed the one caliper, i heard u dont need to do all 4 if u only take one off, let me know! thanks
there is the bleed screw on the back of the caliper that you have to use one of those special line wrenches for, attach a clear piece of hose to it so that you can see the fluid and any bubbles. and have it drain into an old container so that you don't leak all over your driveway.
have a friend sit in the drivers seat and pump the brakes till they don't go down and hold them. then you, using the line wrench, open the bleed screw just enough for a little fluid to come out. repeat process until all air is out of the system, checking periodically to make sure the resevior is topped off (it would be bad to run out of fluid in the resevoir as you would then have to bleed the whole system). this whole process should take you about 15-30 minutes depending on how much air is actually in the system.
