Level 10 stuff is unecessary if you have the ability to drive a manual. Its only good for people with one leg (not trying to be insensitive, just funny) or cars that only come with autos like most Mercedes. But a good level 10 upgrade will get your auto going much better obviously.

Yeah, that's pretty funny. Not really. What about folks like myself who stayed auto simply as a way to see first hand exactly what an auto Honda can do. Oh, and no, it is not because I am too cheap to do a manual conversion. hell I could have done it easily with the money I have spent for trannies. And now, it is not because I can not drive stick.

Level 10 makes excellent products. They have been making excellent bullet proof trannys for domestics for a while now. I was planning on upgrading to a full Level 10 tranny setup by using the spare tranny that I have. However, I have decided to start a new project, so that is put on hold.

Im just kidding James. I didnt say I could drive stick either, because I cant. Nothing wrong with auto's, just not as much rpm control, and very expensive rebuilds.

Both are pretty much essential. The bullet proof kit replaces seals inside your tranny, along with the clutch disks. These are what make a Honda tranny so weak. The new ones are rated at over 400ft/lb and 500hp.

The TQ convertor will do a couple of things. First, it will increase you stall speed, thus allowing you to launch with more available TQ. This will get you down the line faster. It will also give you a firmer shift. Not too mention it will be able to hold and lockup with the type of power that a turbo or nitrous can dish out. You will ned to send them your old convertor though.

I would recommend both of thses parts.

thx a lot big james (my idol)
another thing why do they have a whole tranny on their site for like $2800 if they have those extra parts. that auto chip looks interesting too, you gonna get it? or is it worth getting?

They sell the entire tranny that includes the PTS and the Superpump already assembled. That way people who might not be able to rebuild the tranny themselves, can have it done and ready to drop in. Plus they repalce all bearings, seals, bushings, and washers. Basically you get a new tranny.

When you say auto chip, do you mean the system that allows you to shift you tranny like a manual? If so, then yes, I think it is worth it. It is very nice if you do any kind of road racing. It basically turn your car into a sportshift. However, the shifts are very quick. In the end the ar will shift as hard and quick as any manual, but you don't have to worry about a misshift.

However, for the price of all of thise, you could have a manual swap done. So, it is up to you whether you think i is worth it or not.

well i think it would be a little more interesting if some1 had an auto accord that will kick some ***, although manual is a lot more fun but having an auto just as fast would be cool, plus theres not too many of those thats all i got to say

If one of these kits was ordered, what is the Average cost to have it installed? Is it cheaper just getting the tranny from LvL 10 or the kit?
