Default Boggles!?

Just today after driving my crx to college and on the way home, I notice a slight difference on how the engine ran. I was in 3rd gear going on to the freeway and from where 3rd gear is at, the mph won't go up no more. it stayed around 35-38mph. Switch to 4th gear and the rpm is stuck around 38 mph, Wouldn't go up. Pressed the gas a little and it wouldn't go up but u can hear the exhaust gets louder and on the other hand the rpm goes up a little.

Can't be a clutch problem cause i had new clutches put in 2 weeks ago.
Bad timing? Timing has been fix 2 weeks ago also. Did somehow i mess up the timing?

I went to the shop where my car is at and check up on it. The guy that was looking at my problem that i had, check everything. He even made it better than before. Such as rpm being too low and etc. But he said the check engine lights comes on when he drives it for 5-10 mins also. So he told me, He's 100% it's a bad 02 sensor. But there wasn't any diagnostic done to the car so he suggets i get a diagnostic to find what's wrong then replace the 02. So yeah hoping that will fix it!

One last question. IF you were to bolt on a header would u HAVE to use a header gasket? cause i think the car is puffing aiR!

Just got car back from the shop. Here's what was the problem

First off let me explain the problem that my car had. I didn't have a header gasket on the header. so it was releasing air in the front where the headers were at. But my concern wasn't about that part, it was the code 1 o2 sensor and the check engine light. The diagnostic came out to conclusion that my 02 sensor is fine. Everything is fine. No leaks no nothing. The problem was, air was coming out of the headers where the bolts were tights and also where the gasket should be at. With too much air coming out, it gave the 02 sensor wrong readings. So in conclusion, Get a header gasket. Retighten all the bolts near the headers. And everything should be fine.
