Default need some advice

I have a 89 civic SI with around 208k that goes through about a court of oil a week and i wanted to swap the motor out this comming week(spring break). Now originally I had planned to go with a DOHC ZC, but most company's dont have any in stock. I have around $600 to spend, also im 16 and have some experience but probaly not enough to assemble a block or somethin as complicated as that. any advice would be cool. thanks

with 600 you should get a d16z6 or a d15b sohc motor because its basically much cheaper because you dont need swap mounts. And thier both pretty quick over stock.
