Have you guys heard of a K&N Tornado? If so plz fill me in.

 

not for the accord but i've seen them for the civic before.

 

k&n makes filters, the tornado is that spiral crap usless paper weight to put in you intake to lose power

Thanx, My friend watched an infomercial on the product and was trying to explain it to me, so I figured I would ask you guys.

 

On the commercial, they claimed that a Maxima gained 22 hp....How can they just lie like that?

Someone donated to us one of those things, and we tried it.
Didn't lose any power or time, but it didn't get any increase
either. While there is benefit from swirl and straightening out
airflow, swirl only has real benefit in the combustion chamber
(not the intake piping), and any good air filter will help straighten
out airflow. Your money is better served elsewhere.
